Yes. The core tracking features - vet visit log, vaccine tracker, medication tracker, and weight tracker - are free for one pet, forever. A Premium subscription unlocks unlimited pets, the AI Coach, weekly AI health summaries, and breed-specific insights.
PawCare AI is currently optimised for dogs and cats. Support for additional species is on our roadmap for future updates.
PawCare AI is available on iOS (iPhone) and Android. Your data syncs automatically across devices when you sign in with the same account.
No. The AI Coach provides educational guidance and helps you decide when to act, but it does not diagnose conditions. It's designed to help you track your pet's health history and know when professional care is needed - never as a replacement for a licensed vet.
Describe your pet's symptoms in plain English, and the AI Coach considers their breed, age, and weight to give you contextual, breed-aware guidance - whether to monitor at home, see a vet soon, or seek emergency care.
Your messages are sent securely to OpenAI solely to generate a response, and are not used to train any AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how AI Coach data is handled.
The AI Coach, weekly AI health summaries, and breed health insights are Premium features. Core tracking tools remain free on every plan.
Premium is available monthly at $4.99/month or annually at $34.99/year (a 42% saving versus paying monthly). Both plans include unlimited pets, the AI Coach, weekly AI summaries, and breed health insights.
Yes, Premium Annual includes a 7-day free trial. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited once a paid subscription begins.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), not within PawCare AI itself. Open your device's subscription settings to cancel. You'll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
First, make sure you're signed in to PawCare AI with the same account you used when you purchased. Then try Settings → Restore Purchases. If you purchased with a different Apple ID or Google account than the one currently signed in, sign out and back in with the purchasing account, then restore.
Refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google per their respective store policies, since that's who processes your payment - PawCare AI does not have access to your payment details or process refunds directly.
Yes. Premium supports unlimited pets. Your first pet profile is always free - upgrade to add more using the + button on the Home screen.
Yes. Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase and is never sold to third parties. AI Coach messages are processed by OpenAI solely to generate a response. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture on data handling and third-party services.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app, or email us at support@pawcareai.app. All data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Full details are on our Delete Account page.
Yes. Sign in with the same Google or Apple account on your new device and all your pets, records, and subscription entitlements will sync automatically.
Check that notifications are enabled for PawCare AI in your phone's system settings, and that reminders are turned on for that specific vaccine or medication inside the app. Reminders fire based on the due dates you've entered, so double-check those too.
Confirm you have an active internet connection and an active Premium subscription, since the AI Coach requires both. If it still isn't working after a few minutes, force-close and reopen the app; if the issue persists, contact support.
Make sure PawCare AI has permission to access storage or use the share sheet on your device. If the export button doesn't respond, try again after updating to the latest app version.
Try force-closing and reopening the app first. If that doesn't help, check the App Store or Play Store for a pending update, or reinstall the app - your data is safely stored in the cloud and will restore when you sign back in.
