Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your PawCare AI account and all associated data at any time, directly from within the app. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.

1. Delete Your Account In-App

PawCare AI supports sign-in via Google, Apple, and email. Regardless of how you signed up, deletion works the same way:

• Open the PawCare AI app
• Go to Settings
• Tap Delete Account
• Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and data are deleted immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

2. Don't Have Access to the App?

If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, you can request deletion by emailing us from the address associated with your account:

Please include the email address or sign-in method you used to create your account so we can verify and locate it. We'll confirm once deletion is complete, typically within a few business days.

3. What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently delete:

• Your account information and sign-in credentials
• All pet profiles
• Vet visit records
• Vaccination and medication records
• Weight logs
• Uploaded pet documents and photos
• AI Coach chat history
• Push notification tokens and reminder schedules

4. What Data Is Retained

We do not retain your personal account data after deletion, with two narrow exceptions:

• Subscription and payment records - retained by Apple and RevenueCat as required for financial, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes. PawCare AI never receives or stores your payment card details directly.
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics - app usage events already stripped of identifiers may persist in Firebase Analytics for product improvement purposes and cannot be traced back to you.

No health records, pet data, or AI conversation content is retained after account deletion.

5. Deletion Timeline

Account deletion via the in-app button is immediate. Backing systems (backups, logs) are purged within 30 days. Email-requested deletions are processed within a few business days of verification.
